Welcome to the Inventors Next door Expo

Scheduled for the month of May 2008.

It's purpose to showcase various Inventors works from all over the country and..

• To be creative and find creativity
• To bring innovative People together
• Up skill knowledge & Educate
• Showcase inventive people in one place
• Share knowledge and hold workshops
• Celebrate our kiwi ingenuity

Now this should'nt be too hard considering Kiwi's tend to be a innovative lot..almost hard wired into our minds. The ability to come up with a unique,simple,working solution to a new (or even age old) problem is prevalent amongst New Zealanders. Must be that 'Number 8' wire' thing!!??

Target outcomes:

• Enlist our youth to not question creativity
• Have a one stop meeting place for invention on show
• Identify resources and services that can best support these innovators and put on Workshops
• Potentially open doors as a “Dragons Den” to facilitate a Incubator
• Create a template to replicate in other towns & Cities as a roadshow
